Carla Terry, director of GME, Grants and Contracts, began her career with St. Claire HealthCare in 1990. She has been working with graduate medical education and the family medicine residency program since 2006. In her current position, she helps to manage the family medicine residency program and is responsible for the fiscal reporting of multiple grants and contracts, including all of those for the Northeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center.
Carla earned a Bachelor of Arts-Business Administration degree from Keiser College in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and is certified by the National Board for Certification of Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education.
Carla has been involved with the Northeast Kentucky Substance Use Response Coalition since it was formed in 2018. She currently serves as Project Director on the Coalition’s HRSA Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP)-Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Expansion Grant. The MAT Expansion grant is an initiative to expand and/or initiate medication-assisted treatment of opioid use disorder in St. Claire HealthCare’s four rural health clinics.
