Katie Allen joined the Northeast Kentucky Substance Use Response Coalition in September 2021 when she was hired as an Educational Assistant for the Northeast Area Health Education Center (NE KY AHEC).

She serves as the Data Coordinator for the Rural Health Network Development Grant, the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program Planning (RCORP) III grant, RCORP Implementation II grant and Implementation III grant. Within this role, it is her primary duty to collect and organization critical data from multiple sources. This data not only informs the current projects (for deliverables required by the funder, trends, etc.) but also future projects.

While new to her roles, she is excited to dive head-first into the grant world and start working within the Coalition.
