Matthew Porter, MA, Promoted to Outreach Services Coordinator

Matthew Porter, MA, joined the Northeast AHEC in September 2022 as an Educational Assistant for Health Careers Promotion and as of today (Feb. 20, 2023) has accepted the position of Outreach Services Coordinator for the Northeast AHEC and the Northeast Kentucky Substance Use Response Coalition.

St. Claire HealthCare and NE KY Substance Use Response Coalition Awarded $300,000 Core Priorities Grant

St. Claire HealthCare, on behalf of the Northeast Kentucky Substance Use Response Coalition, is pleased to announce they have been awarded a $300,000 Core Priorities Grant by the Pallottine Foundation of Huntington, West Virginia. SCH and the Coalition were the only recipients of this grant in Kentucky and only one of four recipients between Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia.

St. Claire HealthCare Awarded $1 Million to Combat Opioid Abuse

U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will distribute $1,000,000 to St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) through the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP), on behalf of the Northeast Kentucky Substance Use Response Coalition. SCH is fiscal agent for, and one of eight members of, the coalition.
