First Day Forward Program Coordinator Brittany Herrington Receives Recognition for Her Work in Criminal Justice

Brittany Herrington, Peer Program Coordinator at Pathways, Inc., and an integral part of the Northeast Kentucky Susbtance Use Response Coalition's First Day Forward jail reentry program, has received recognition for her work with justice-involved populations.

On Thursday, February 20th, at the state capitol in Frankfort, Herrington received "The Justice Award" from Dream.org for her tireless work on improving the lives of justice-involved individuals.

The award highlights her dedication to making a difference and advocating for justice.

Herrington's work at Pathways, and with the First Day Forward program, has positively impacted so many lives, especially those in the Coalition's service region, and continues to do so. The Coalition could not be more proud of her and the positive impact she’s having in our community, in the region, and across the state.
